However, weak signal strength inside large buildings like hi-rises, hospitals, hotels and parking garages is normally due to the building construction materials. Our clients’ most common complaint is staff or customers having to walk outside the building to get a signal.  Construction materials like concrete and steel act as barriers and heavily attenuate a strong and clear cell signal when passed through. What we do is capture the strong signal outside and feed it to a two-way cellular amplifier also known as a repeater or bi-directional amplifier (BDA). The amplifier feeds a custom designed distributed antenna system (DAS), which brings the outdoor coverage inside the buildings in the areas that you need it.
